There's the Problem...

Remember how Pete was waking up 5 times a night well on Sunday I discovered the issue, a Tooth! It was just visible the other day and is still bugging him like no other. Tylenol has been our friend the last 2 nights. Instead of every 2 hours its 4 hours when it wears off. We also learned our lesson about getting Pete to bed late. He is a super grump when that happens. Last night he only woke up 3 times (amazing!) and it didn't seem too bad to me because we are now going to bed at 9. How sad is that when you start going to bed at 9? But Phil has a reason he wakes up at 3am to work on stuff for student teaching. (Did I ever mention how glad I am that I got out of education?!) All I can think is May is coming...hopefully soon...May does come right after January...Right?....

Playtime

Today our bedroom was so bright from all of the falling snow. It made for a great time to take some pictures of the cutie. Oh how fun this boy of mine is. He is quite enjoyable and I think we'll go ahead and keep him.

5 Months

Yesterday marked Pete's 5th month! I think it is insane that August was 5 months ago. I'm loving the fact that I can sit him up and he stays that way without have to find stuff to pile around him. He enjoys it to because he gets to see more than the ceiling. He is also enjoying rolling over, he has been able to do it for awhile but it always surprised him when he did it, now he is doing it on purpose.
One thing I don't love at the moment is his sleeping. He decided that since he didn't take advantage of the newborn sleep schedule when he was one that he would do it now. Last night he woke up 5 times! 11, 1, 2, 4, 7 and finally 8 to really start the day. Every time he gets up all he wants to do is eat. I don't know if we are in the grasp of a nasty growth spurt, teething or just a hungry and easy to wake boy. What I do know is if it keeps it up I may go crazy, so hopefully this will stop soon enough.
I was reading some stuff the other day about babies waking up at night and one person suggested that as mothers' we enjoy our quiet time together so really consider it before trying to change anything. Ummm...No I LOVE my sleep, I love my little boy too, but to make said boy much happier it takes me having some sleep and not just the little bit I would have had if it hadn't been for the two hour delay Phil had. I love you lots and lots Pete but I'll get our snuggling in by day, instead of at night.

Student Teaching

Phil is working on his right now! So exciting knowing that this is the end of our college career! Oh Boy! He is student teaching down at Highland Junior High, though originally he was to be at East Side Middle School, but it is no longer in existence since they consolidated all the schools in the area. We don't really care to much what it is called as long as he gets this last thing out of the way. We also found out today that Phil is up for Departmental Honors! He will have a great looking resume by the time we get out of here. He makes my sad little GPA look even worse, but don't worry it is still a 3.687, which is nothing to sneeze at considering I got married, and had a baby during this whole thing. Defensive? Yes. Well maybe I'll see if I can get Phil to write about it some this semester, but I doubt it, he is awfully busy.

Eating

I love it when Pete eats food. I think it is the funniest thing in the world. He makes so many different faces. So here are some from today's adventure in rice cereal.
