My Baby...

Is two weeks old today. How did time fly by, everyday it winds up being 11pm and me getting into bed thinking what happened to the day. The whole time I was pregnant the days never ended and the weeks went by so slowly. Now that he is here zoom its gone! It is crazy to think 2 weeks, okay its not that much but it seems like it to me, personally it seems like we just got out of the hospital. Craziness...but look how cute he is.

Must be Genetic

So for my family out there this may look familiar...
For everyone else out in blogging land, Tashina, my sister-in-law, posted about how all of her kids sleep like my brother. I woke up and found Pete the same way. Such a sweet little guy.

Announcing...

the arrival of Peter Raymond Call! He was born on Thursday morning just after midnight at 12:12 weighing in at 9 pounds 2 ounces and 22 1/2 inches long. He is doing great, but does have jaundice so is on a Billi Blanket for the next few days until the doctor's appointment and blood test. We are both in love with him to no end and couldn't imagine life without him.

Dear Summer,

I'm tired of you, I might like you better if you would cool down some and be a little less humid. I mean really I should be having a baby in less than a week, don't you think you could do me a favor? I do love the storms that you have been giving us lately, but the heat is ridiculous. I would really like to turn off the air conditioner and leave the windows open. I am hoping that the Golden Rod is correct with the timing of the first frost, I saw it blooming the other day, but that is still 6 weeks away. I don't want you to go away for good, I'm thinking sunny and around 75 degrees. You let Southern California have it all the time can we just get the next two weeks to be like that, just without the wildfires. If you find any of this possible that would be heavenly.

Sincerely,
Kim & Pete
